SCHEDA 02 · The problem

A catalog doesn't sell itself.

When the catalog contains hundreds of codes, variants and technical specs, the customer often doesn't know what to look for. They browse pages, send a generic email or give up. Katalove turns that catalog into a guided conversation.

Qualifying question
Is the pool in-ground or above ground? Sand or cartridge filter? Do you already have a pump?
Reasoning

At 80 m³ with a 6-hour turnover you need roughly 13 m³/h. Here are two matched units, plus a larger one if you plan to extend the system.

Request a quote

And it prepares quotes for your sales team.

A request arrives with thirty lines written in plain words. Your sales rep pastes it and gets, for each line, the code, the price with that customer's terms and the catalog page. Where a detail is missing it says so, before a wrong quote goes out.

Not in the catalog: it says so instead of making it up
Example with made-up codes
  • Even a new sales rep finds code, price and page while talking to the customer.
  • Discounts, promotions and per-customer terms come from your ERP.
  • An old or competitor code leads to the right item.
  • The quote downloads as Excel. Your sales rep is always the one who sends it.

Not just a chatbot on top of a catalogue

Before answering, we turn your catalog into checked product records: code, variants, price, page.

The sales agent answers from those records, not from a PDF read on the fly, and cites the page every figure comes from.

The catalogue becomes a reliable database. The AI becomes a competent salesperson.

We tell it how your company speaks, what to propose and what never to promise.

Built for those who sell products that need explaining.

No website traffic needed: the agent works on every call. Same catalog, same link, PIN-protected if your prices are reserved.

At the counter and on the phoneThe customer is on the line and your salesperson asks the agent instead of leafing through the catalog: code, price and proof page during the call.
For new salespeopleThey find code, price and page while on the phone with the customer.

Every technical catalog is different. We look at it first, then we quote.

We work on your catalogs, price lists and manuals ourselves, by hand where needed. That is why we always start with a pilot on your material, and define the project afterwards.

  1. 01Pilot

We work on part of your catalog or manuals and you test it with the real questions of your customers and sales team.

  2. 02Project

We work on your catalogs, price lists and manuals in full, set up the sales agent, quotes for your sales team and technical support, and connect it to your CRM.

  3. 03Management

We update the catalogs with every new edition, check the answers and follow usage over time.

Frequently asked questions

Is Katalove a normal chatbot?

No. It doesn't search for words in a file: it answers from checked product records, asks the right questions to understand what's needed and hands your sales rep a complete request.

What types of catalog can I upload?

PDF, CSV and Excel. Alternatively you can have your website read, if the products are public.

Does it work with scanned PDFs too?

No, you need a PDF with selectable text: usually it's enough to ask whoever laid it out.

How can I verify an answer?

Every important answer shows the catalog page it comes from, or the page on your website. You open it and read it.

Can Katalove make up products or features?

It only answers based on what it has read in your sources, and when a piece of data isn't there it says so instead of guessing. It never infers prices or availability.

Can I tell it which products to push?

Yes, from the company profile (Pro plan). You write the lines it should offer when they fit the request, and what it must never promise: discounts, delivery dates, compatibility you will not guarantee. Offering the right accessory or spare part it does anyway; what you add is the commercial direction.

Can I use restricted catalogs and price lists?

Yes. A catalog can be protected with a PIN and stays accessible only to those you choose.

Can I update the catalog?

Yes: send us the new edition and we update it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how many pages, catalogs and manuals there are and how complex they are. We start with a pilot on part of your material; the project and management are defined afterwards, once we know what is needed.

What does the pilot include?

Work on part of your catalog or manuals, the agent set up on that material and a trial period with the real questions of customers and sales reps. At the end you see the results and decide whether to continue.

Can I connect it to CRM or ERP?

Yes. Every request and order can reach your CRM instantly through a webhook, directly or via Zapier, Make or n8n, and they can also be exported as CSV. From your ERP we read price lists, discounts and per-customer terms from an Excel file. Custom integrations are assessed case by case.

How long does it take to publish it?

The pilot starts after we have seen your material. Timing depends on how many pages there are and how complex they are: we tell you right away, together with the cost.

How is data handled?

Each company's data is separate and reserved catalogs can't be reached without a PIN. For details on processing and retention, the privacy policy is linked at the bottom of the page.

Can I cancel the service?

Yes, anytime. Setup already done isn't refundable.

Let's see if your catalog is compatible.

Send us your catalog or your site address. We'll tell you what we can read and what we can't, for free.
